St Anne’s Wrap Around Care (the 'Club')
Our aim is to offer high-quality wraparound care at both ends of the school day in a safe, welcoming environment—all at an affordable cost. The Club is overseen by the Headteacher and school governors, and our policies are closely aligned with the school’s values and standards. Safeguarding is a top priority, which is why children are always signed in and out.
Term-Time Provision
During term time, we make use of the large school hall and a secure, spacious outdoor area. These spaces are equipped with a wide range of age-appropriate activities and resources, including:
- Indoors: Board games, construction toys, small world play, games consoles, role play and dressing-up corner, pool table, and sports equipment.
- Outdoors: Bikes, tents, and space for free play and exploration.
We’ve recently added more equipment to ensure every child has a wide variety of engaging options to choose from.
While we offer planned activities each day, participation is always optional. We understand that some children prefer to unwind after a busy school day—whether by chatting with friends, engaging in their own games, or simply relaxing.
Children are actively involved in helping to shape the activity programme, and their interests are central to our planning.
A quiet area is also available for those who wish to read, complete homework, or explore creative writing. We have access to an excellent computer suite, which children can use under close supervision. Parents are welcome to view these facilities.
A healthy snack is provided after school, as we know children are often hungry by the end of the day.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club offers a calm start to the day with a healthy breakfast including a choice of cereals, toast, fruit, and water or milk. After eating, children can enjoy free play before school begins. Younger children are accompanied to their classrooms by staff.
Please note: Breakfast is served until 8:30am.
Holiday Club
Our Holiday Club runs during all school holidays except for Christmas, Bank Holidays, and INSET days—and is open to children from any school.
We provide a fun-packed programme full of stimulating activities and exciting outings, such as:
- Visits to the airport, museums, parks, cinema, and pottery workshops
- Special guests and in-club experiences, including go-karts, the fire brigade, Trafford Sports Team programmes, bouncy castles, and wildlife encounters
Children should bring a packed lunch, but we provide plenty of drinks and a healthy afternoon snack.
Check the Holiday Club page to see what's planned for the upcoming break!
